I’m a rock club owner, and I’ve always loved pets. So now that my business is booming with customers, I need to make sure they are comfortable too! Check out these 10 tips that will help you keep your pet happy in your rock club.
Make sure all pets have access to fresh water at any time. If they’re walking through messy floors, their mouth could be full of germs and bacteria when they lap up some water. Yuck! You don’t want them drinking that stuff!
Keep the litter boxes nice and clean, too! It’s not only good for their health but it also keeps your rock club looking respectable. You don’t want customers thinking you can’t even take care of something as simple as a cat box in your own place of business.
Put up signs that show where the pet food dishes are located, and make sure it is a place the pet can easily access. This way, they won’t be running through your customer’s feet as they eat!
Hang up signs for any dog runs you have outside or inside of your rock club. It will give them a little exercise before returning to their home with you after work hours.
Keep your pets out of the kitchen at all times! Even if you’re just cooking up a quick snack, it’s best to keep them in an area where your customers won’t trip over or step on them.
If any kind of pet is allowed (or even cats), make sure their food and water bowls are always full and clean! This will make your pets feel like they are welcome and will boost their moods.
Keep an eye on how long it takes for your pet to eat their food or drink from the water bowl, too! If it’s taking a while, they might not have enough access to fresh water throughout the day – so be sure to check that out before leaving them alone again.
Make sure to keep your pets out of the rooms you don’t allow anyone in! If they’re running around where people are trying to sleep, it’s probably best for them not to be there at all during those times – or if they do go inside, make sure they stay quiet and under control so no one wakes up grumpy.
Give them their own space! If they’re allowed to be off the leash, find an enclosed area for them that’s away from your customers where they can feel safe and at home. This will make them calm and happy – which means it’ll also help keep your business happier!
Last but not least, don’t forget about play time! Make sure you give your pets plenty of time to play around and burn off any excess energy they might have. If you do this, then when it’s time for them to go home with you at the end of a long day, they’ll be nice and calm!
